If you had a Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus
A whole bunch of others in a dinosaur chorus
They would sing to you of what they used to do
When the world was a dinosaur zoo.

Well I'm Tyrannosaurus Rex and I'm the king
I've got long sharp teeth and I'm big and mean
I don't eat plants, cause I'm a carnivore
What I like to eat is other dinosaurs
And they're all afraid of me, and that's just how I want it to be.

I'm Brontosaurus and I'm longer than
Two school buses parked end to end
And I eat all day just to keep my stomach filled
Your mom would scream if she had to pay my grocery bill
Or faint if she had to select a scarf for my oversized neck.

If you had a Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus . . .

I'm Stegosaurus I've got plates on my back
I've got spikes on my tail just in case I'm attacked
And here's another thing that I bet you didn't know
My favorite stomping grounds are in the state of Colorado
So be careful when you leave your home
You might trip over one of my bones.

Well I'm Triceratops and on my head
It looks like a hat but it's a shield instead
And it protects me from those other dinosaurs
They'd like to eat me up, that makes me mighty sore
But I have 3 horns like spears
So I can poke 'em if they get too near.

If you had a Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus . . .

I wonder what happened to all of our dinosaur friends
I know they're all gone but I wish they'd come back again
Then we could see them hangin' out in the school yard
Or crossing the street stompin' around with the cars
I'd love to see a Tyrannosaurus Rex
But. . . I don't think he'd make a good pet.
